About the event

Meet up with other Poly folks to learn more about Polamory AND to get real about how we're experiencing it, the highs and the lows! This will be run in a fully consensual and healthy way. 

This discussion group is open to families (minors that can sit for an hour and contribute to the conversation). If minors are present, the topics will not touch on sexuality. An adults-only group will be in a couple weeks!

(No willfully violent communication or blaming/shaming will be tolerated.) 

Will start promptly at 6 (1.29.20) at East Blair Housing Co-op 

A minimum donation of $5 is recommended.

Jera Johnston is a compassionate and fierce seeker of Truth. As a peer supporter and communication consultant, she holds the hands of  traumatized and healing people as they find the magical transformation of their individual authenticity. With a grounded connection to her own healing journey and education, she creates trauma-informed resources and environments that support and promote trauma healing for her clients and peers.

Jera has been on her personal trauma recovery journey for 12+ years. Much of her lived learning began with over 4 years immersed in an NonViolent Communication (NVC) and consent-based intentional community. She has served as a Community Council Member at Meadowsong Ecovillage, as well as taking up several teaching roles in NVC and Personal Sustainability Skills at Lost Valley Education Center (and other local organizations). She continues her professional development with groups such as Network for New Culture and Heart of Now. She can additionally be found nose-deep in an article or book by leading healing professionals.

Jera sees her life's work as creating trauma-informed resources and spaces that support & promote trauma healing.
